Why do Ali haters think that Ali lovers are blind to who she is…
Like, we know she was a horrible person before she disappeared. We know she was manipulative and in need a good slap in the face. And we know that the way she treated others wasn’t right at all. Emily in particular. Yeah, she didn’t treat Emily right either. Ali lovers all know that. We aren’t fucking blind like Jenna okay.
But we also believe in redemption. We believe in Alison DiLaurentis. The show is intentionally making her look like the villain here. They’re trying to make us pick sides. And those sides are people on Alison’s side, and people against her. The people on Alison’s side may seem kinda crazy, but we’re here because we have a lot of faith. Alison has gone through a lot of shit these past two years. The girls have too, I understand that. But Alison has also gone through a lot. Ali lovers believe in change. And we believe she’s changed to some extent. Old Ali isn’t gone completely and we know that. But now what we believe, or at least I do, is that Alison is using her talents for the greater good. She’s using her lying and manipulative ways to stop A. Which is what her and the girls have wanted this whole time.
Alison has a plan. The girls won’t approve of this plan because Alison’s methods are different than theirs. She’s willing to lie and cheat and bury those in her way to get what she wants. The girls don’t want to do things the bad way. But Alison will. She’s doing bad things to get to the good end. A life without A. The girls and Alison both have a common goal; to stop A once and for all. The way that they get there is just different.
Ali lovers look deep into Alison’s character. We try and understand her. We also understand that when someone is made out to seem like the evil one, they’re actually on the good side. This is why Ali lovers are still here. We believe in her, we have faith. We aren’t completely blind to who she was okay. But we think she’s changed and we’re going to stick by her until the very end. Because we love her. We love her against reason, against promise, against peace, against hope, against happiness, against all discouragement that could be.
